These consequences apply at all school functions in any location.
While the chart reflects what the consequences will normally be, unique circumstances may result in modifications.

Academic Dishonesty, Plagiarism, Cheating	Loss of marks - possible zero - suspension and parent contact
Accidental Property Damage	Restitution - parent contact
Alcohol/Drug Use or Possession	Automatic suspension - police contact - counselling
Alcohol/Drug Dealing/Trafficking	Expulsion
Abuse of Computer/Technology Resources	Detention - removal of computer priviledges - suspension
Defying authority, insolence, profane language	Detention - suspension - parent contact
Displays of Affection	Warning - detention - suspension
Fighting/Physical confrontation or interference	Automatic suspension - parent contact - possible police contact - expulsion
Firecrackers (possession/setting off)	Suspension - parent contact
Forgery	Suspension
Harassment (sexual, verbal, racial, hate-motivated)	Counselling - possible suspension - possible parent of polic contact - expulsion
Loss of Textbooks/Library materials	Pay value of lost item
Pulling Fire Alarm (Criminal Offence)	Automatic 20 day suspension - referral to police
Safety Violations	Detention - suspension - removal from course
Skipping Class	Detention - suspension - parent contact
Smoking on School Property	Suspension - possible fine
Swearing at teacher or another person in authority	Automatic suspension
Test/exam/assignment missed for non-valid reason	Zero on test/exam/assignment
Trespassing	Warning and police contact - possible suspension
Theft / Robbery	Notify police - suspension - expulsion
Vandalism (including graffiti)	Parent contact - possible police contact - possible suspension - restitution - restoration
Weapon possession	Weapon confiscation - expulsion - police contact
